Pistol Skill Builder: Feel like you need some training in pistol shooting fundamentals? Not quite ready for a defensive pistol class? Then the Pistol Skill Builder class is for you.
It’s an opportunity to practice the fundamentals of pistol shooting (stance, grip, sight alignment/picture, etc.) on a firing line under the guidance of experienced instructors in a “safety-first” environment. Plus, the small class size maximizes student-instructor engagement.
This class is conducted outdoors in the warm weather and indoors in the winter. Students use their own guns and ammunition. If you do not have a pistol, you may borrow a .22 caliber pistol (ammo included) for an additional $10 fee.
Note: Students must have a valid Massachusetts LTC (resident or non-resident) in order to take this class and the required equipment. This is a live-fire class conducted at an outdoor shooting range in the warmer months and an indoor range during the winter–the range will be reserved for this class and will not be open to general shooting.

This class is held at Danvers Fish & Game Club in Middleton, MA, and both club members and non-members may register to attend.
Price: $55 per student (DFGC members receive a 10% discount). After submitting your registration form (below), you will be contacted regarding payment. We accept Venmo and credit cards. Do not pay until contacted with either a credit card or Venmo invoice from us. Payment is typically due within 24 hours of invoicing in order to reserve your spot in the class.
