Paladin Group Training teaches the curriculum for “NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting — Gun Owners’ Action League Inc. LTC031.” This course has been approved by the Massachusetts State Police. Successful completion will enable you to apply for your Massachusetts LTC or FID Card.
This class teaches beginners to safely handle, load & unload, store, and transport handguns and shoot firearms as well as Mass. Firearms Laws, Law of Self Defense, De-escalation Tactics, Suicide Prevention, Tasers, Stun Guns, Pepper Spray and how to apply for your Mass. Firearms License. This is a about an 8-hour class with a written test and live fire.
Students must bring the following:
-Massachusetts ID (driver’s license or state issued ID)
-Notebook and pen
-A lunch
-Hat with a brim and comfortable closed toe shoes–no sandals
Firearms, ammunition, as well eye & ear protection will be provided for the live-fire portion of the class (conducted at Danvers Fish & Game Club’s Indoor Range).
This class is held at Danvers Fish & Game Club in Middleton, MA, and both club members and non-members may register to attend.

Price: $200 per student ($180 for DF&GC members). After submitting your registration form (below), you will be contacted regarding payment. We accept Venmo and credit cards. Do not pay until contacted with either a credit card or Venmo invoice from us. Payment is due within 24 hours of invoicing in order to reserve your spot in the class.
